Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Latinfo collects, why, and how we protect it. Latinfo is operated by Carrera Haus E.I.R.L. (RUC 20615095037), Lima, Peru.

1. What We Collect

2. What We Do Not Collect

No cookies on latinfo.dev or api.latinfo.dev.
No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels).
No browsing behavior or advertising data.
No passwords (GitHub handles authentication).
We do not log which specific RUC or DNI records you query.

3. Data You Query (SUNAT Records)

When you use Latinfo, you query public government records from Peru's SUNAT padron reducido. This data is published by SUNAT as public information under Peruvian law. Latinfo processes and serves this data as infrastructure — we do not create or modify the underlying records.

4. Third-Party Processors

Cloudflare (United States) — Edge compute, database, storage. Processes IP addresses and API requests. Privacy Policy
GitHub (United States) — OAuth authentication. Provides username and email. Privacy Policy
dLocal Go (Uruguay) — Payment processing. Handles card data directly. Privacy Policy

5. International Transfers

Latinfo is a Peruvian company. Your data may be processed on Cloudflare's global edge network, including the United States and other countries. Cloudflare provides adequate data protection safeguards.

6. Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure.
Usage and billing records: retained for 5 years (Peru tax compliance).
IP logs: transient, retained by Cloudflare per their policies.

7. Your Rights

Under Peru's Ley 29733 (Personal Data Protection Law), you have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of your personal data.
Rectification — Correct inaccurate data.
Cancellation — Request deletion of your data.
Opposition — Object to processing for justified reasons.

8. Security

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS enforced by Cloudflare).
Data at rest is encrypted by Cloudflare (D1 and R2).
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users promptly.

9. Children

Latinfo is not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on latinfo.dev.
